THE buzz shoppers feel as they buy items has been measured for the first time.

Debenhams used monitors to track the heart rates of 1,000 customers between the ages of 20 and 40.
The average resting heart rate for women is 74 beats per minute. This rose to an average of 120 bmp among those who found the right dress.
Coming across a glamorous pair of shoes saw female pulses Damier azur Handags Replica rise to 117 bmp, while handbags were almost as exciting, scoring 113 bpm.
Readings were especially high with sale items.
The average resting heart rate for men is 72 bpm, but it soared to 118 bpm when buying lingerie -- a bigger percentage increase than when a man's football team scores a
embroidered patches goal. Next was home entertainment goods at 105 bpm and then sporting goods at 103 bpm. Ed Watson, at Debenhams, said: "Women appear to embark upon an emotional rollercoaster when they step into a shop."
