Shoppers have been warned to keep a close guard on their purses after several were snatched from handbags.
The incidents have all happened in Barry.

The thief is described as being an olive skinned male and was led down lights wearing a dark, bomber style jacket.

In another case in the Heol Ceiniog area of the town, the thief spoke to his victim then she realised her purse had been stolen. The thief is described as being male, 5ft 6ins tall, of Asian appearance, 40 to 50 years old. He was accompanied by two women.
